Markel International (hereinafter “Provider”) respects the privacy of all persons, who visit our Internet presence. We hereby explain to users about the type, the scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data on this website. 2. Collection, use and processing of personal data

Personal data will only be collected, used and forwarded by the Provider if this is permitted by law or the users consent to the data collection.
You will remain anonymous when using our websites as long as you do not make personal data available to us voluntarily yourself.
A collection, use and processing of personal data can occur in the following cases:
a) Access data/ server log files
The Provider or the Web-Hoster centron GmbH (managing directors: Monika Seucan and Wilhelm Seucan) collect data about each access to the offer (so-called server logfiles). The access data include:
Name of the called website, file, date and time when called, transmitted data volume, report of a successful call, browser type together with version, the operating system of the user, Referrer URL (the previously visited site), IP address and the enquiring provider.

However, the Provider will reserve the right to subsequently check the protocol data if there is the justified suspicion of an unlawful use owing to concrete indications.
b) Establishment of contact / use of the offered services
The details of the user will be stored with the establishment of contact with the Provider (e.g. by means of a contact form or e-mail) and for the use of the services offered on the website, for the purpose of processing the enquiry as well as for follow-up questions. The user voluntarily makes his data available for this purpose.

4. Storage deadline of the data
Personal data will only be stored as long as this is necessary to achieve the purposes stated herein or at envisaged by storage deadlines stipulated by the legislator. After the respective purpose ceases to apply or after the expiry of a storage obligation the data will be deleted or blocked according to the statutory regulations.
5. Revocation, changes, corrections and updates
The user is entitled to receive information free of charge upon application concerning the personal data, which were stored with reference to him. In addition the user has the right to correction of incorrect data, blocking and deletion of his personal data insofar as this is not opposed by any statutory storage obligation.
